Carrot protein bliss balls
Before a workout, it is important to eat a snack that is especially not too heavy. It should give you the right amount of energy to pop during your workout! This delicious and pure natural pre-workout snack will help you with this!
Pre-workout snack ingredients
- 80-100gr Oat flakes (the less the wetter the consistency, the more the drier)
- 25 grams of walnuts
- 25 grams of cashew nuts
- 1 scoop ekopura whey vanilla of ekopura vegan protein vanilla
- 1 carrot, finely grated
- 7 dried dates (soaked and finely chopped)
- 50ml water / almond milk
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon Grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- A few drops of vanilla aroma
- Coconut grater
Preparation
First soak the dates in hot water and then chop them finely. Grate the carrots and mix with all the ingredients in your food processor or knead together into a firm dough. Roll the dough into small balls and roll them through the grated coconut. Then let the balls set in the fridge for 2-4 hours. You can then store the balls in the fridge for about 5 days and you have the perfect pre-workout snack. Enjoy!
