Are you looking for a tasty snack but still responsible? Then read on to find out what we have a super tasty recipe for nut protein cookies. These protein oatmeal nut cookies can be eaten guilt-free and are also super simple to make!
Ingredients
- 2 scoops Ekopura
organic whey protein purely natural
- 3 tsp baking powder - coconut oil - Two overripe bananas - 250g oat flour - 150ml almond milk - 60g honey (you can replace this with other sweeteners if you want) - 1 tsp sea salt - 2 eggs - Mixed nuts (mix of your choice)
Vegan
For the vegan variant, replace the eggs with applesauce and the whey with
vegan protein.
How do you make the cookies?
- Preheat the oven to 180°C - Blend the bananas, eggs, almond milk and coconut oil in a blender to a batter. - Then add the oats, baking powder, protein, honey and salt to the batter and put it back in the blender. Make the biscuits from the batter and place them on a baking paper. Top the cookies with the mixed nuts. - Place the cookies in the oven and bake them for about 20 minutes until crisp and brown.
