Gluten Free Chocolate Protein Muffins Recipe

Gluten-free baking can be a challenge, but these flourless muffins literally make it a breeze! Good to know: There are no weird, expensive ingredients to use for this Gluten Free Chocolate Protein Muffins Recipe.


The protein we used in this recipe is the Ekopura Natural Whey Smooth Cocoa, but you can also prepare it with other Ekopuraproteins such as: Vegan Vanilla, Vegan Chocolate of Whey Natural† How nice is it that these muffins are gluten-free and flourless, and that the protein is organic - really a muffin that you can eat without feeling guilty ;).

Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 8-10 muffins


  • 2 bananas (preferably a little brown)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup Ekopura-protein powder
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 / 2 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

This is how you make the gluten-free chocolate protein muffins:

Step 1 - Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Prepare the muffin tin by lining up the muffin tins or drizzle with oil/butter.

Step 2 - Place all ingredients (except the chocolate chips) in a blender and blend for 30 seconds or until the batter is completely smooth. Add a few chocolate chips to the mix and blend for 2 sec.

Step 3 - Add the rest of the chocolate chips (without sticking) and pour into the muffin tins. Save some chocolate chips to put on top of your muffins.

Step 4 - Bake for 12-14 minutes until the muffins are well risen.
